Kirsten Doll - Mattel

Kirsten is just adorable! I can't believe I haven't reviewed her yet.
So I never saw myself with a Mattel Kirsten, but she's very dear to me now. She was the first doll I ever bought for myself with money I'd earned by working. I love her super long, soft lemony blond hair. I'm not a huge fan on blonds in general, but Kirsten (and #12 - Wendy) are definite exceptions. I worried that if I took her braids out I wouldn't be able to redo her original style, but I can. It doesn't look factory perfect when I do, but it still looks really great. I really love her vibrant blue eyes. The character is wonderful and the doll looks as sweet as I imagined.
I love and adore her meet dress. It's really pretty and looks wonderful with her coloring. The shoes however, are horrendous. They're probably my least favorite AG shoes, and that includes the plastic Mary Janes of Sam, Nellie, and Molly.
Overall, love her! A- (grade is only lowered by her one fault -- those damn shoes)
