Sweater & Skirt (retired)

I bought this set for my PM Molly, but she let Nicki wear it, since she has no intention of changing out of her birthday pinafore dress. 
The sweater is adorable, although thinner than I expected. The embroidery is very pretty, and I don't see it as being holiday-ish at all, really. I'm glad the sweater velcroes up instead of having to pull it on. I realize that a pullover is more accurate, but they always muss Molly's hair. I also got the low-stick velcro, which is nice. A-
The skirt is pretty dang cute. I was also surprised that there was no velcro and little stretch. I'm a bit worried about getting it on Molly, since I had a little trouble with Nicki, who is Mattel obviously. But my Molly is my thinnest PM, so it probably won't be too big an issue. A
The shoes are adorable. I'm a lifelong saddle shoe fan, so these were bound to be winners. They are tight and small though. I didn't compare them to Molly's mattel blue saddle shoes, but they seem smaller. I had to struggle for a bit to get them on Nicki over socks, so I'm not looking forward to trying them on Molly. C+
The ribbons and socks are okay. I prefer these red ribbons to Molly's nasty cheap meet ribbons, although I do wish they were satiny like most of Molly's other ribbons. The socks are nice and thick... much thicker than her meet socks (which are about as thin as OG socks). But since Molly's chubby feet need thin socks to get into most of her shoes, she'll probably donate these socks to her modern friends. A
