It is my 2011 goal to write up reviews for all my AG items. I am starting with Ruthie. I purchased Ruthie last year from a board member as my 1st Mother's Day gift from my son. She was my 2nd doll and my last doll purchase was for a brand new Addy back in 1995.
I love Ruthie, I think part of why I love her is that her hair color and mine are nearly identical. I grew up with way too many blonde Barbie dolls as a little girl. I like the fact that her hair is curly, but it also can be frustrating at the same time.
Ruthie also looks good in almost every outfit I own, modern and historical. I really like her in Samantha's play dress, Addy's meet dress and Kirsten's winter blouse and skirt paired with her winter woolens.
I highly recommend Ruthie to anyone considering to purchase her.
