What sold me on Rebecca's Phonograph was listening to the songs, which you can hear in Rebecca's Archive section. Ronnie was so nice to have recorded them. Take Me Out To The Ballgame and I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy are two of my favorite songs ever. I heartily sing George M Cohan's "I'm A Yankee Doodle Dandy" every summer. My preschoolers also sang and danced to it and sung it in our July 4th Parade, along with Your A Grand Old Flag. I have seen the movie a bunch of times. It drives my adult kids nuts when I sing it. ;D Anyway, the song plays prominently in Rebecca's school life and there is score in her school supplies. Take Me Out To the Ballgame Spring, Summer and Fall. If there had not been songs and was for display only, I might have decided differently on whether to buy this version or a replica of an antique Victrola. So, For what it is worth, that's my take.
