I give the entire set an over all Grade A.

As can be said for any of the AG food sets-there are high points and lows. I'm thrilled to be able to say that there are many highs. Lets start with those:
Pepper grinder: A+
Plastic notwithstanding, it is designed just like the real thing- from the color to the faux metal bottom. You can even twist and turn it!
Cheese shaker: A+
AG does state that it's supposed to be a cheese shaker. But personally I feel like it will get a whole lot more mileage as a salt shaker. So henceforth that's what it shall be in my eyes. More plastic, yes- but it can be forgiven because it's in perfect scale and oh-so cute!
Olive oil Dispenser: A
This has a more plastic like look to it than the other pieces, but the black rubber top does look like the real thing and the fact that it's an olive oil dispenser at all is fabulous.
Lasagna and pan: A
The lasagna itself is fairly detailed and is actually one of the more appetizing foods to come out of the AG kitchen. I was a tiny bit disappointed that all of the lasagna pieces were not removable, but I've come to expect that. The pan is plastic, but designed well and the color is spot on for that type of dish.
Fork and spoon: A+
Metal and in acceptable scale.
Plates: B
Plastic once again, with a floral design to match the pitcher.
Here are the low points:
Drinking cups: C
Blatantly plastic, and look more like something you'd serve an ice cream dessert in.
Pitcher: C
Attractively shaped but in it's place I would have preferred a milk or juice carton. Would have had more play value.
Dessert cups: B-
More plastic, as expected. Would have forgiven that if the dessert was a little more interesting. Strawberry ice cream with a strawberry garnish. Maybe I'm being too picky, I dunno.
Bread: C-
Color and texture are very unappealing. Pieces like these are the reason that I started making and selling my own doll food.
The napkins are useful and are a pretty coordinating color.
In spite of the few missteps, I think this set is a refreshing standout among the AG food sets. Highly recommended.
