Kanani's 'Ukulele Set Item# V3823 $34
Kanani shares the aloha spirit by offering Hawaiian treats. At Rachel's going-away party, Kanani gives her cousin gifts from her family's sweet shop:
A faux bag of macadamia nuts Make-believe dried pineapple A box of pretend mochi A woven gift box to hold all the Hawaiian goodies A greeting card with a sweet note inside A 'ukulele that really plays music—press the button to hear a little tune!
This is so adorable! The 'ukulele is plastic, of course, but thick and strong. The strings can be strummed, although no tune comes from them. If you put in 2 AAA batteries, it will play a great ukulele sounding song. The tone in the recording is very good and sounds like a real ukulele.
The neat thing about the ukulele is it has a clear-rubber hand strap on the back of the neck so Kanani can hold it. Good idea, AG!
The woven box is large enough to hold all of the treats that Kanani gives to Rachel: a bag of pineapple (all clumped together), a bag of macadamia nuts (also all clumped together) an adorable box with six mochi (all stuck together) and the card to Rachel from Kanani.
The backs of the bags of food say "Do Not Eat", but my battery died before I could get a photo of that. So don't eat the pretend goodies!
Overall a fun set with lots of pieces. We love food sets even if they are clumped together, it's still cute. Great set. Grade A.
