This set was released in 2005 and retired with archival in 2010.
A blue pillow and quilt with Cluny lace, a fringed valance with attached floral-print bed hangings, and a fringed bed skirt cover Elizabeth's four-poster hardwood bed and mattress.
Bed:
It is real wood, but pretty light. An older girl could probably assemble it on her own with adult supervision. The screwdriver really isn't necessary. I did this within 45 min and it's my first time assembling anything! (proud of myself)
Bedding:
The canopy is nice, & heavy. It's important to not the instructions for putting it on are for Felicity's bed. All you really have to do is put the curtains-and-canopy piece over the tester and tie back the curtains. I keep some of my curtains untied to cover the places where the bed's against the wall.
I love the mattress. It's really realistic! The fabric is slightly rough and it is SO soft for your dolls to lie on.
The pillow is just a pillow matching the coverlet, which has very nice lace on it. This looks lovely with the fringe of the undersheet. Both cover and undersheet have edges designed to flow around the posters, which means they wouldn't work on another bed.
