This set was released in 2011 and retired with Cécile's archival in 2014.
Birds were popular pets in America in the 1850s. Cécile can happily pass the time with her colorful parrot and a collection of games and activities! Her parrot, Cochon, and a metal birdcage he can perch inside. A miniature book and copy of The Daily Crescent newspaper. A faux magnifying glass. Eight paper dolls, ready to be dressed in the latest fashions.
Included in this set: Céciles parrot--very realistic looking. He is hard plastic covered w/ velvety coating -Metal green cage--very sturdy, the bar for the parrot to sit on looks wood but is plastic -Miniature book of short stories /lessons called "Woolworth's Cabinet Library" -A newspaper called The Daily Crescentt dated for August 22, 1853 -Jenny Lind paper dolls -doll are on a single sheet inside the yellow envelope -Spyglass-all plastic including the lens Price: $38
It goes nicely withCécile'sdesk and the pieces are realistic. I give the set an "A", however it seemed a little pricey for what you get so on price/value, I give it an "A-".
