I bought this on a whim because my store was still out of the polka dot outfit, and I needed something else for my niece to change my Molly into.
I have yet to actually use this outfit myself, so most of this review will actually be more child-based, rather than collector-based. (B is 10 by the way.)
The sweater: slightly itchy acrylic with low snag velcro. B had no problems with it.
The skirt: B got this on with no problem, although she did have it on backwards. When I adjusted things later that evening, I was surprised that there was no velcro to the skirt. It didn't have as much give as I expected, but apparently B had no problems.
The socks: standard Molly socks.
The ribbons: grosgrain rather than the double-faced satin that most of Molly's ribbons are made of. Other than that, they worked just fine.
The shoes: B had problems with these, and had to bring them to me to put them on. I didn't have my "dolly shoe horn" with me (unused popsicle stick), but I managed a lot better than the first time I put on Molly's blue saddle shoes. B ended up deciding that she liked the patent Mary Janes better with this outfit, so that ended the shoe problem.
Grade: A- (minus for kiddo not being able to operate the shoes on her own.)
