There are five pieces to the outfit, not including the charm. Here is my new, yet un-named #55 modeling: The shirt and leggings are pretty basic. I think the leggings are a bit too tight and hard to get on and off. The boots are really cute and easy to get on and off, as the velcro is on the side where the fur is. The fleece headband is easy to put on, and the tag is a regular small one (not the new super long kind) so it will be hidden when on the doll's head. I really bought this because my favorite color is red, and although I sew, I thought the vest would be difficult to duplicate, with all the quilting and details. The vest is pretty thin, even though it is lined - not something a real person would wear to keep warm while snowshoeing in the winter. It closes with velcro in the front and the button really works. The belt is sewn on under the left belt loop but comes out of the right loop. (I think this is a bit odd: why not either make it completely removable OR sewn down at both belt loops?) I was curious after someone asked about removing the "U" patch. Since the stitching for the patch can be seen on the inside of the vest, I decided to try taking it off with my seam ripper. It came off easily with no damage to the vest. If you look really closely in person, you can see tiny holes where the stitching was, but in this photo, you can hardly tell anything was there. I give this outfit an A overall, notwithstanding the price, which is a bit high IMO.
