Valentine Party Outfit (2001-2003)

This outfit is one of the few that completely epitomizes the early millenium. The long skirt, the matchingness of everything, and just the good memories that it brings. This was actually one of the first outfits I ever bought from American Girl.
The skirt is cute and great quality. It can fit on any girl as there is an elastic waistband and the material itself is stretchy. The tank top is basic, with the little line of heart beads across the top. I've always worried about these falling off, but aparently 9 years and they're still fine. The pink shirt/jacket is very bright, and I used to worry about the buttons like the beads, but they are good quality and haven't fallen off despite the years. The shoes are great! Such nice detail in the hearts across the toes and their strong and built to last. The soles are hard plastic, while the pink strap is a little more pliable.
