Can anyone tell me if it is normal that my snow globe has "low" water? I think I have the Mattel version because even though her tag says PC, her arms are straight. The globe is the one with the red plastic base. The water doesn't cover the snowman's hat. I am curious if it came this way or evaporated over the years or something... there does not appear to be any evidence of a leak.

Also, the nurse doll has straight hair instead of curly hair, and though it is smooth it appears "layered" in the back- the top layer of hair is shorter than the layers underneath. Is this normal or has her hair been cut?
