I enjoy the vaguely East European vibe of the embroidery at the bottom of the dress!
That said, it is a bit mature for a 9-year old. I don't particularly care for the patent leather boots, but that's a personal issue. I can't stand patent leather! Ditto on Santa hats, ugh.
Overall, it's a sweet dress. I wish the fur cuffs were removable, but one can't have it all.
