I got this outfit for my 18" girls, and I'm very pleased with how nice it looks on them. Please excuse my room's green lighting. Here's CJ wearing the Seaside Outfit, with Promise in last year's Sea Breeze Outfit for comparison. They look cute together, but don't match as exactly as I was thinking they would. Most notably, the blue in the Bitty outfit is more of a basic primary blue, the stripes are further apart, and each stripe is actually two colors. I'm not crazy about hats on my dolls, and this one in particular makes the whole outfit look younger, so here it is hat-free: The top seems like a comfortable size on them. It's not skin tight, but it's also not too loose like some Bitty shirts and dresses tend to be. The shorts are great and fit perfectly. The bow is very crisp and sewn down. The blue line around the collar is raised and is a nice detail. Here you can see what I mean about the stripes being two colors. The anchors along the bottom are real embroidery. There's just the three of them across the front, they don't go onto the back. And here are the shoes on my Bitty's feet. They're too small to wriggle onto an 18"er's foot. They're cute I guess, but not really my style...I think it's cute that they're all soft though, like shoes that you really would put on a baby. All in all I love this one. This is one of my favorite outfits I've bought for a while. It's light and summery and sweet, and now my dolls finally have a pair of shorts! Yay!!
