Trunk (retired)

I have the older trunk as well after having the new trunk. It is a very rich chocolate wood that matches pefectly with the rest of her collection. It is gorgeous! The orange color just threw me off so much and it looked foreign when placed next to the rest of addy's collection, I had to send it back. I won this hinged version last week off of ebay and I am so glad i did. I don't understand why American Girl keeps diminishing the quality of the items. It is a huge noticeable difference and its a shame that they changed the design and quality of this beautiful trunk. American Girl just isnt the same as when it was owned by pleasant company.
