McKenna is such a pretty doll!
Seeing her in person, her hair is a lot closer to Elizabeth's colour than I had expected but the texture/quality is silkier. I LOVE McKenna's hair. Mine seems to have a good headful, too, for which I am extremely glad.
One of the first things I did was to place McKenna between Elizabeth and Chrissa for comparison. They are very similar indeed, particularly Elizabeth, but I did notice quite a variation in the skintone. McKenna's vinyl has a warmer tone than either of the other two and her face paint is slightly darker, in keeping with that (still looks natural). I don't know if I will be able to pick up the difference in a photo but will try later.
McKenna's Meet outfit is okay. I don't hate it and I don't love it. The colours are fine and the style is ok but the whole lacks substance imho. She's a gymnast: I think she should have come in her warmup outfit with the leotard underneath.
My McKenna has slightly distorted/flattened hip sockets, one more noticeable than the other. I noticed it when I was changing her into her School outfit and saw that her undies sat oddly. .
If I were in the US I might be tempted to exchange her but from here, it's not enough of an issue to warrant the hassle. The doll stands and sits fine and it doesn't seem to affect her clothes (apart from said undies, which she is unlikely to be flashing at anyone). Apart from the hassle of returns from this distance, I really like the face and hair of the doll I have and I'd be worried that if I sent her back for the hip issue, the replacement may not have such a pleasing face, or possibly might have hair or eye issues that would bug me more.
I did notice that McKenna's leggings fail when she sits, as mentioned upthread.
A for this one... would have been + but for the distorted hip socket on mine. Overall she's a glorious doll and I can see why the target market would be falling over themselves to buy her.
Photos to come. I took one when I first unpacked her but hadn't realised how messy my kitchen was that day and don't want it in the background!!
