I had this outfit for a bit, but never put it on any of my dolls. I wasn't really a fan of what it looked like (I got it free, and I don't say no to free AG things) but I decided to try it on my #46 just now because you gave me a good excuse =3
The bathing suit by itself is a bit short. In order for it to look "okay", you have to really pull it up, exposing the cloth "hip joints", if you will, otherwise if you don't, the neckline is too low. Also, you can't really tell from the photo, but it's kind of "bubbly".
However, when you add the skirt, you can pull up the suit more, and it actually looks quite cute!
I don't like the hat at all, though.
Would I buy this set unless I had a bitty? Probably not. I might not even have bought it if I had a bitty. Well, maybe. I'm not sure. I do really like it with just the suit, skirt, and shoes though.
The quality is good, although I do wish that the bow on the shoes was an actual bow, instead of just embroided on. But, technicalities.

It's not really that noticeable unless you really look, and if the doll in it is going to be getting a lot of play, I don't think it's too big of a deal.
