This outfit was released in 2006 and retired in 2012.
Dress Emily for an afternoon of sledding and snow angels in her bib-style snow pants and belted jacket with faux-fur trim around the hood. Zip up her snow boots, slip on her knitted mittens, and send her out to play! Includes trading cards.
I bought Emily's snow suit in Oct. '07. I don't have Emily yet but my other girls are perfectly happy wearing it.
The yellow jacket seems to be very thin for a winter coat. I'm not sure what its made of, but it feels kind of a like cheap wool and the weave of the fabric is really loose. I think it should have been lined or made of a heavier fabric but its a good fit with plenty of room for a heavy sweater underneath. The fake fur trim hood looks cute up or down. The blue embroidery is really nice and makes a fantastic match with the boots and skirt from the "I Like Your Style" outfit.

The royal blue bib-style snow pants look and feel just like the heavy wool snow pants I had as a kid and I was very impressed with the quality. They fit rather snug and there isn't much room under them for anything other then undies and I think they are too short, if you were wearing those in the snow, they would ride up and your legs would be hanging out!
The boots are really nice, I'm pretty sure they are leather but the plastic soles are smooth and they could use a bit of tread on the bottom. They fit well and are easy to get on and off, but I find the mustard color mildly disturbing and I also think little feet would get really cold, really fast! It would have been nice if they had included a pair of heavy wool socks.

The cream mittens are cute but I had some issues keeping them on when we were outside. Luckily, they have a cord so we didn't loose them.

I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the jacket but overall, I like the set and I give it a B. I would have given it an A if it came with socks and if the jacket was heavier.
