Loft Bed

To my pleasant surprise, McKenna's bed arrived on my doorstep this morning (after only being shipped out last night). It's my first furniture piece, so I was pretty excited to take it out of the box. I spent nearly the entire day planning out how I wanted to decorate it, where I wanted to put it, etc. It isn't in its permanent spot yet, but my impatient self couldn't help sprucing it up a bit and snapping a few pictures. :

The bed is quite large, so large, in fact, that I think I might have to re-arrange my bedroom to accommodate for it, haha. (Right now it's kind of in the way of me being able to sit at my desk.) The colors of the bed and bedding are nice, I think they go well together.

I love every piece in this set, especially Polka Dot and her cage. I've been a hamster lover all my life, so she's probably my favorite piece. The little pencils, the alarm clock and the lamp are so cute! The books are very nice, with a great amount of detail in each one. The chair and rug are lovely as well.

Overall grade: A+
