I got mine for Christmas in 2010. Was I supposed to get a book? Hat: A+ I think it's very nice and easily pops back to its original position even after being stored in the original box for several months. It doesn't tear easily and the material is thick. Boots: A- I give it the letter grade of A- because it's a struggle to put them on and the buckles are sort of hard to fasten as well. The buckles are attached with some string, but unless you're being rough and abusive to the doll and doll clothing, then it'll stay attached well. Despite them being hard to put on, they look amazing once on (I wouldn't recommend jeans though, just because I'm too lazy to try to shove them inside the boots ). Coat: A+ Very nice quality. Sure, the buttons may be a little hard to fit through the holes, but they stay fastened. The belt is also wonderful. This coat can easily go over a shirt, be it long-sleeved or short-sleeved. The fabric is higher quality than the 2010 MAG meet shirt, which is the only other AG top fabric I can compare it to. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this set for ages 7 and younger, because like AG originally intended, 18" dolls and doll clothing is for 8 and up. A+
