As an adult collector I love this dress. I've had no problems with any of the pieces that the others have had. The hat is suppose to be worn at an angle and dipped down over one eye. I can't say if it's period correct, my area of expertise does not lie in fashion, but from all the shows I've seen the hat looks great. It stayed on just fine for me.
I just had to add a positive review as this is one of my favorite outfits, time period, and dolls. It seems like a lot of the target age range doesn't know how to really style these outfits, but if worn correctly is a beautiful dress and hat.
