I just realized I never posted my darling Felicity. My girl is a 1991 West German beauty and her hair is a gorgeous coppery color and she has peridot green eyes. I received this kitty as a birthday present from a dear friend. She very cute and can tilt her head charmingly to one side or have it straight. Her mouth is sewn in a way that she appears to smile. All four legs are posable. She has blue eyes and her fur is soft. She also came with a blue striped plastic mouse to hold. The Casually Cozy Outfit was available for $28 from 2017-2020. It came with a multicolored hat, a purple dress, multicolored leggings and pink boots. Though retired in 2020, I managed to snag one at the 2022 online Benefit Sale, and I’m so happy I did! This outfit is beyond charming. The design is cute, in addition to looking actually looking like it could keeping you warm when it’s cold out. The fabric is super soft too. With all the bright colors, it may seem a bit clashing, but personally I think they all blend very well together in person. This looks like a nice, well-made set. The Spencer is thick woolen like material. The color is pretty fashionable for the time.  It does not match Disney Frozen (Anna) cape but it does coordinate OK. |

These pets are just plush toys you can buy anywhere. Buffy, the kitten, is at least different colors. Neither of them is the right scale to be a puppy or kitten. Buffy, especially, is too big. In the book, she likes to sit on Isabel's head. Here you can see how BIG the cat is compared to Isabel's head. They should at least come with adoption certificates or something that shows they're rescues.  |

The Caroline doll never really appealed to me in spite of my obsession with Jane Austen and the Regency era. I do not care for Caroline's Barbie blond hair but her eyes are a lovely shade of seafoam green. I also like the feathered brows. They make the bangless forehead look a little more natural. This Caroline lives with my friend nelliegirl and is wearing a Disney Frozen (Anna) cape.   |

I agree with above poster this is a heavy bed. I was really surprised as it looked like it would be very light! Per ag’s customer service I was told the bed weighs 13.5 lbs. None the less, I still really like this bed! Very pretty and accurate to the style of that time. The bed spread and throw pillows are so pretty, and very nice! Only downside for me is the weight as I would not put it on a pax shelf, only the bottom.

Marie-Grace has grown on me. I'm not in love with her face but some of the store models have wider faces than my friend nelliegirl's M-G. I like the wider face better. Those pin curls do look odd. I'm all in favor of historical accuracy but I'm sure there was another hair style they could have given her. Her eyes are a nice shade of blue. It is her hair I love the most. It's long and slightly wavy like mine and almost the same color as mine. Her hair is slightly more blondish/golden than mine, which is slightly more reddish than Rebecca's. I didn't see Marie-Grace's outfit to play with.  |

Nanea is pretty sweet. Her new face mold takes some getting used to. Her bright hazel eyes look a little startled, especially the bad plastic ones on the display doll at AGPNY. My friend nelliegirl's husband gifted her a sweet Nanea who is just perfect. I love her long, dark wavy hair but I think it might be too much for young girls. I didn't play with her meet outfit but I like the sailor moku shorts and Molly would enjoy wearing them too if Nanea wasn't half her size. Nanea eats a very healthy Hawaiian diet and is much smaller than homefront ration Molly and even homefront British ration Emily! More pictures soon.   |

It's very disappointing that the grin pins are not the same as the original ones that came with the AGT outfits. Those were stickers. Isabel's beret is hard to put on her head so once it's on, it apparently is staying and her mom will not remove it. I love the little journal replica of her book the most.  |

First of all, I don't consider 1999 historical. Nicki does not look out of place in the modern line up but way out of place in the historical line up. Her looks are very unique. She should come with purple extensions to clip in her hair instead of the weird blond streaks in front. In the book she dyes her hair purple in the front and I guess the blond is supposed to be the bleached bits. The extra eyelashes make her look much older than 9. I was very disappointed in her outfit. Her flannel shirt isn't even real flannel, nor does it button. It is nowhere near the quality of Molly's play outfit shirt. I was in college in 1999 and don't remember what little girls dressed like. Her outfit looks more like what I remember than Isabel's does.   |

nelliegirl's newest dolly daughter. I do not care for Isabel's face. Her eyes are so bright and the extra eyelashes make her look older than 9. I was in college at the time and didn't know any little girls but I sure did see them all at every *N SYNC concert I went to. I don't recall how they dressed. (I was too busy trying to keep them from beating me up as they swarmed closer to the stage.) I don't even consider 1999 historical and to me, Isabel looks like another modern girl or GOTY. Isabel is very thin! She's thinner than even some of the newer TrulyMe dolls. More pics to come.  I did like her story for the most part. I'll do a full review in the library.

Courtney is a favorite with nelliegirl and her son. Courtney is pretty cute. The classic mold is just right for her, being a 1980s girl! She's gotta have the original face! I don't remember anyone ever dressing like that except maybe on TV or mannequins in the store windows. She feels nostalgic for nelliegirl who was in high school at the time. I do remember girls paying for spiral perms to get hair like Courtney's. I do not like her curly hair. It gets so messy every time you change her clothes. Her curls look like they'll reset easily but if you aren't confident in knowing what you're doing, she'll end up with messy hair. I guess it makes her look realistic. Hey Courtney, 1986!   |

This is Hannah, my favorite of nelliegirl's colored hair dollie daughters. I pushed to include Hannah in the family! It didn't take much convincing but I don't think she's as loved as some of her sisters. She's still new. She looks similar to #55 with long dark wavy hair. Her face is the classic mold but her skin tone is slightly darker than 55's. It's a light medium. She looks a lot like she could be related to my Italian family. I love her dark hair and the blue streaks but the magenta streaks are unnecessary and don't really go. Her outfit is very strange and I've never seen an urban 10 year old dressed like that.   |

This is a gorgeous doll! Madison ( nelliegirl's dolly daughter) has a beautiful face. Her skin tone is light medium with warm undertones. Her eyes are greenish hazel and her eyebrows are feathered but not surprised or arched. They are nice and normal. I'm not crazy about the cool camo outfit. She looks more like a mermaid with her green/blue hair. I would like her much better if she had normal hair and not colored streaks. The colored streaks at least look a little more normal than the full colored hair dolls.   Here she is with Luciana. They could be sisters or fraternal twins.  |

She has dabbled in living in the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. She looks good in anything. She now refuses to take off the CYO shirt I made for her.  |

Introducing Peppermint Patty "Pepper", a favorite child of my dear friend nelliegirl . Nelliegirl likes Pepper's silky straight hair. It's easy to care for and doesn't get frizzy or messy. I disagree and find the silky. straight hair gets flyaways at the drop of a hat and drives me crazy. I'd never want to touch her hair! We disagree about the color of her hair too. NellieGirl likes her, her son loves it and I think it looks weird and unnatural, even for dyed hair. Pepper came with a plastic zip tie and not a neck string. Her body is very thin and even thinner than her custom orphaned sister Spirit, who has a neck string. Even so, she's still a little bit more fluffy than the most recent batch of dolls!    |

Beforever Samantha and her CostCo bundle were a gift to my friend nelliegirl from her husband. He had no clue she already had Samantha or that my Samantha is the REAL Samantha to the REAL (custom prototype) Nellie. So, given the family's interest in flight, BF Samantha is now Evie, a modern day flight attendant. "Mom" drew the line at the airplane play set. Evie has her own makeshift scene in the living room instead.  |

The one that got away! Samantha's velvet dress is made from heavy velvet and closes in back with a long strip of Velcro. It fits white bodied Samantha just fine. The color is beautiful- a purple blue more than blue blue as catalog photos showed. It is meant to pair with Samantha's holiday coat but would also go well with Rebecca's newest coat. It's a similar shade of blueish/purple. The style is not very accurate for a child at that time. Children's dresses were made from cottons, twilled wools and corded silks. I've never seen a dressmaking pattern suggest velvet. Still, I wish I could have gotten my hands on it! It looks pretty on Samantha and would also look pretty on Ruthie.  |

This doll is much prettier in person than online - if you get one with good eyes. The plastic whites could be very startling against her dark skin. The good eyes look more natural and less like plastic eyes on cheaper dolls. Her hair is lightly textured and her curls get messy easily. Do NOT comb her hair! Her curls reset with water, finger combing and if necessary, rollers, just like regular curly hair (Samantha, Rebecca, Ruthie). Her body is pretty thin compared to older dolls. It's amazing how much they keep shrinking the dolls. I'm not a fan of this type of outfit but it seemed well made compared to the most recent TrulyMe releases I saw. Devon is happy to be loved again after being placed on ebay. She is my newest gododll at nelliegirl's house. (Supposedly the last new one but I doubt that!)   |

 SKU#: HMC07 $35 I agree with a lot of what Jamirae wrote about Kavi’s Accessories in the review above, so I’ll just add some photos and additional thoughts about the different pieces … Hattie, Kavi’s elephant good-luck charm she got in India when she was six - This cute blue plastic elephant, with its pink and yellow blanket and accents, is about an inch long. It seems like it’s fairly well made (the plastic isn’t too lightweight), and it can fit in Kavi’s hand okay, but I agree with the above review that there’s not much for this elephant to do other than be carried in Kavi’s purse or be displayed somewhere. A clip to have it hang on the outside of her purse would have been a cute idea. Grade: C+ (positive points for quality and ties to story, negative points for playability/use)   A hot-pink faux-fur bucket hat featuring an embroidered AG logo - This bright pink fuzzy hat is the main reason I got Kavi’s Accessories. It looks adorable on her and helps to complement and balance the other pink pieces of her outfits. The lower-case ag logo is embroidered in silver thread, and it’s noticeable but not pronounced. I really like this hat for Kavi. Grade: A    A multicolored cuff bracelet - This thick, gold-colored cuff bracelet, with its bands of navy blue, Kelly green, bright fuchsia pink, and baby blue, is a fashionable accessory that could easily be used with Kavi’s meet or with other dolls or outfits. It’s made of substantial plastic and once on the doll, it seems pretty secure and very unlikely to slip off. The only negative in my mind is that I think the style skews a bit older than Kavi. Grade: B  A structured black quilted-style purse with a wide pink strap so it can be worn crossbody or over the shoulder - The body of this purse is black plastic with a quilted design on both sides, and a silver star logo on one side. It has a neon yellow zipper closure with a silver star zipper pull. The strap, which easily connects to the purse with silver lobster claw clasps at each end, is bright pink with a neon yellow stripe up the middle. I’m really not a fan of this purse. I like how the strap is easily removable (which is especially helpful if Kavi wants to wear this as a crossbody purse, and might also open up different possibilities for customizing), but personally I feel like it has too many colors/styles going on and I dislike how stiff it is. Grade: C    A planner for Kavi to keep track of schoolwork, yoga class, dance practice, piano lessons, and more - This thick paper planner has a pink cover with a multicolor mandala and the title “WEEKLY PLANNER”. There are lots of lined pages inside, with each two-page spread having the days of the week (highlighted in rainbow-colored bands) with room for checklists underneath. This is a great tie-in to Kavi’s story. I just wish it fit inside her purse. Grade: B   Overall, I think Kavi’s Accessories set has some hits and misses, and the overall impression and grade might depend on your personal style preferences. Here are a couple more pictures of the front and back of everything in the set.   |

Includes:
A monochromatic purple houndstooth jacket and matching skirt with diamond buttons
A graphic tank with “Adventure” design, low-heeled white boots, a purse, and purple sunglasses
A pretend cellphone and case dolls can hold to keep up with the day’s plans, and phone screens to change the display for play
This outfit is part of the World Traveler Series that AG has featured. It costs a whopping $45! It does , however, include accessories similar to those offered separately in the earlier World Traveler Series. Though the accessories include a case with cellphone and screen changes and sunglasses which is hardly a big deal, it does bring down the price of what this versatile outfit consisting of jacket, skirt, tank top and boots .
I find that AG often releases outfits that work well with the GOTY and TM options in that time period. This outfit, I got for Kavi who really doesn’t have any everyday non edgy clothes. The colors work well with her and the pants can go with that jacquard jacket. Since I’m using Makena’s pink and purple outfits for Kavi ad well, the colors and pieces have distinct possibilities for mix and match.
Main complaint of the outfit is the thin fabric. I expected something more in the order of the France Travel Outfit skirt , and got a very thin fabric instead. Over all, B- but one of the better pieces out there for the TM and modern character dolls. I think Kavi will look terrific in this outfit.
