I am very mad .. a year or so ago I went to the AG fashion show and the lady showed me a catalog with the AG pjs I always dreamed of.. felicity's pj's with the night cap.. and the girl in the picture had it.. i figured It came with it. Well you can imagine my disappointment when my pjs came with no cap for me.. I think that the catalog still shows a girl in a cap.. i do not understand why they no longer give you the cap.. It was so adorable! my dad told me not to fret.. it wasn't comfortable anyways.. But i still wish I would have found that out myself. But they Pjs still look cute. and they are very comfortable.. they are light but not too light and you don't really feel hot in them. and they are very "freeing"

I have the Pleasant Company Feclicity's night gown for myself. I even wore it yesterday evening to bed. I got it when I was 10 or so. 12yrs later still fits well. I think they stopped selling the cap with the nightgown between 5-8 years ago. Mine came with the cap. But mind you it says Pleasant Company not American Girl. AG doesnt do things (in my opinion) as efficiently as they did back then. Other than pilling on the nightgown mine held up very well over the years.
