Sparkly Birthday Set (2012-2014)

My daughter loves her Bitty and we celebrate her "birthday" every week, so I just had to get this set for her. It's currently on sale, which leads me to believe AG will be revamping it, especially now that they just released a new birthday set for the 18" dolls. I paid full price for this set, and it's well worth it considering how much use it gets around here.
The set consists of a white top with embroidered birthday cake, pink tier-ruffled skirt, pink ballet type shoes and a fabric "crown".
Quality of the set is really good, my daughter has an easy time getting it on and off. The skirt holds it shape really well.
The shoes are the best part. My daughter loves the ballet inspired slipper, and I'm always worried that she will lose one of Bitty's shoe but thanks to the extra "strappy-ness" of these, they stay on really well.
The fabric crown is kind of "meh" in my opinion, but it does stay on Bitty's head really well and matches the overall outfit. AG used to sell a girl's sized one to match, I believe, and this does stand up to some serious play whereas I could see a plastic crown breaking easily with young ones.
Overall I give this set an A+, my DD loves it, it stands up to *a lot* of play and it still looks great. Definitely worth the price (and the sale price is even better!) so pick it up before they revamp it!
