Addy’s elegant cutter sled was lovingly handcrafted and painted by Poppa. This style of sled, with its graceful curved runners, was created especially for girls. There’s even a bell for Addy to ring as she dashes through the snow.
I purchased Addy's cutter sled with the $10 off any purchase over $30 code. It is a lovely sled with a beautiful design but it's not very well made. Mine arrived in two pieces. Fortunately for me, the wood didn't splinter when it broke so I was able to glue the pieces back together without any sign of damage. I haven't had any further problems with it, even with moving to a new home with the sled packed very carefully. Since it's so fragile I rate it a B+.

I absolutely adore this piece! One of my favorites from Addy's collection. It is a beautiful piece great for Christmas or winter time displays. Mine arrived in box but it seems it would be rather fragile if not careful. I don't think this is a good item for a young child. I give it an A- for that.
This is a great, festive piece that is perfect for winter fun and holiday displays. The main sled seems to made out of a smooth, lightweight wood that is painted green. It has a dark decorative design on it. The runners and backrest are bright red. The backrest is definitely plastic; I can’t tell with certainty what the runners are made of.
Here’s a clearer picture of the design on the seat:
I love the little details like the bell in front and the rails on the sides. There is a red string in front, which is just long enough for Addy to pull the sled along behind her or to hold on to if she is riding the sled. The sled is the right size for Addy to sit on with her legs out in front of her.
In case you’re curious about the structure on the underside of the sled:
Overall, I love the festive and decorative aspects of this sled, and I give it a solid A if used for displays. However, I don’t like that some parts feel plastic-y, and I agree with other reviewers that it feels too fragile to hold up to play. That might bring it down to a C+ as a child’s toy.
