The Sunny Isle Outfit comes with blue tropical print shorts, a yellow knit tank top with double spaghetti straps and both beading and embroidery on the neckline, orange sherbet flip flops with yellow beads on them and a pink flower hair clip. This outfit would look cute on dolls with many different skin tones and hair/eye combinations. I feel like the outfit is worth the price of $28.00 as the bright summery colors make it pop and there is enough detail to make it interesting. It will get a lot of use at our house this summer. Here is my #24, Katie, wearing it:

I saw this in the store yesterday and LOVE IT! I love yellow so it took all I had not to get the doll and girl outfit. I had other items on my historical list and got the cabana. I will be getting this outfit July 5th when I visit my family in St. Louis. I may have to pick up #30 while I am there too. I just love this outfit on her. I think it looks great on all your girls…especially Betsy.

I couldn't resist this set! It is so very colorful, and well made, too. It reminded me a lot of last year's Easy Breezy outfit, which I also love, but I feel there is even more value to this outfit for what you pay ($28 retail as of June 2014). I love the flow-y ruffles on the lovely yellow shirt, and also appreciate that the design at the neckline is embroidered and incorporates little faceted plastic turquoise "stones" that are sewn into the pattern. The shorts have a great, colorful print, and open at the fly with velcro. There are two side pockets. The melon orange flip flops are my favorite, with foam bottoms and textured straps that look like miniatures of the real things. Three round yellow beads embellish each strap, and they are sewed to the plastic with heavy duty thread, so they're not going to come off easily. There is an elastic band that goes across the doll's foot to hold each flip flop on, and they stay on very well (rough play will cause them to fall off eventually, thought.)
Bottom Line: A+. This is a great modern outfit, and makes me smile every time I see Cat wearing it this summer. I only wish that maybe they could have brought the price up to $34 and thrown in the matching accessories that currently sell separately for $24; almost the same price as the outfit itself. I love the hat and bag, but can't bring myself to go for it all. The Sunny Isle definitely can stand well on it's own.

Sunny Isle Outfit for Dolls + Charm Item# G0442
The weather is warm, the skies are sunny, and she can't wait to get to the beach! This My American Girl® outfit includes: A cheery yellow ruffle top with double straps and squiggly embroidery at the neck Tropical-print shorts Orange flip-flop sandals that have beads at the toes and elastic heel straps to keep them in place A tropical-flower hair accessory for a pretty touch A "Kind" square charm for the doll's charm-keeper necklace
$28
I love this outfit. It's so colorful and cheerful. The beading and embroidery on the top are a very nice touch. The top and shorts fit really well too. I also like the orange elastic on the flip flops and think it'll hold up a lot better than the clear elastic they usually use. I would give this outfit an A+.

This is one of my favourite outfits of all time. I want to wear it.
Everything fits well on Mattel and PM dolls. The shirt is a nice soft cotton. The clip is a nice addition. It's just such a happy outfit!
