A white doll-sized backpack with doodle graphics and a single crossover strap
A pencil box with two pretend mechanical pencils

I purchased this set is St. Louis in July 2014.
Backpack: A-
I love the design on the front and the colors on the strap! I also LOVE that it has two pockets! I always loved backpacks with lots of pockets and it's something different from past backpacks. The minus is due to the white color. While it looks nice on display, it would get dirty quickly.
Pencil Box & Pencils: A
I love that there's a pencil box! Another something a little different in this set! The pencils are pretty standard. Still tiny and run the risk of being easily lost. Perhaps not as much though, since you can put the pencils in the pencil box!
Sketchpad: A+
Very cute! Love the design on the front! The rest of the pages are blank lined pages.
Notebook: A+
Love the cover! The pages inside are blank lined pages. As you can see, I've already personalized mine for Saige:
Folder: A+
Again, I've already personalized mine.
I love the addition of a folder! I would have loved being able to put tiny papers in it as a child!
Ruler: A+
LOVE the tiny ruler! The star at the end is so cute!
Stickers: B
At first I wasn't really thrilled with the personalization aspect, as I normally don't use any stickers that come with sets. When I opened the set and started playing with it though, I fell in love with them! They look wonderful on the folder and on the notebook! I will say though that the stickers are TINY and I do NOT recommend that small children try to use them. I'm 20 years old and was a bit afraid of tearing one.
Overall: A
Normally, I'm not the biggest fan of the school sets, but when I saw this, i knew that it would be perfect for my artsy Saige! The whole "Doodle' theme in this release is just adorable! I feel like this set is different from past backpack sets too and has a lot of play value!
