I bought this outfit solely for mix-and-matching, but here's Chrissa wearing the whole thing.
This outfit is like the spiritual sequel to the Star Hoodie meet outfit that we all got tired of (even having a very similar name). I think almost every aspect is improved, though. I love hoodies for fall, and this one has a very cute and unique cut, and is made of surprisingly cozy material. I'm happy that it's not too thin. The collar is pretty cool...from the front it looks almost like a scarf tucked into a shirt.
Here you can see that it's longer in the back, and it closes like the Star Hoodie did, only this time the velcro goes all the way down! So instead of having to pull the whole thing over the doll's head, you just have to stretch the hood part over her head and then put it on like a normal top. Yayyy!
The leggings are cute and retro-y, and I love that they're full-length instead of carpri! AG actually describes them as "extra long" but I would just call them normal length. Not quite sure why they included a faux fly detail though. Is that a jeggings thing? Shouldn't they have faux pockets too then? Huh.
The shoes aren't my favorite. They're cute and the glitter is the non-shedding kind, but they have slightly rounded soles for some odd reason (I don't know if you can tell from the photo, but trust me), so it's a little hard to balance the doll in them.
I didn't get a closeup of the headband, but from the stock picture I had assumed it was going to be braided colored hair, but it's actually stretchy braided fabric and is very easy to put on. One of my favorite headbands in a while.
I'm not crazy about the whole look together...it looks a bit too childish or maybe too pajama-ish? But for the individual pieces I'm very very pleased. I think this one's well worth the money.
