Preppy Sheepdog Pet-House Set (available at Costco, Sam's and possibly other big-box stores beginning August, 2014)BKC31-RS1A $51.99 retail - ($29.98 at Sam's/Costco) Contents: 1 dog, 1 book, 1 pet-house craft, 1 toy, 2 treat bowls, 1 place mat and stickers.
Box Description:
- This Sheepdog puppy is furry and cute! Her head and legs can be posed for play. Sweet puppy can be posed for playtime fun. Plus, she can really hold her magnetic butterfly toy.
- A preppy pet house to color with your own markers (not included)
- A magnetic butterfly toy that she can really carry
- Two bowls and a place mat for snack time, plus letter stickers to add her name
- A pretty plaid floor mat to decorate the inside of her pet house
- Flower and butterfly stickers to add loveable touches to her pet house
- PLUS: activity book is filled with playtime ideas!
Fun set! I'm glad we found these locally. Too bad they aren't widely available. There is so much included! The Friends Forever book is 60 pages long and not only has real pet information and ideas, but craft ideas for your new doll pet too! (book item #BKJ20-RB1A $8.99) The house is thick cardboard and requires coloring and assembling. The dog dishes & butterfly toy are hard plastic. She can bend her legs and sit down! Many fun ways to pose her. All of the three pets available at the big-box stores. Great idea! I just wish they were more readily available to the general public. I was so happy to find this set at Costco.
It's a huge disappointment.
The dog doesn't fit in the cheaply made cardboard house. And the toy doesn't stay in the dog's mouth.
Overall, I dont recommend it.

I just got this set as a gift and am very pleased. Unlike a previous post, my dog holds the toy just fine. Also the dog holds a pose well, even standing on three legs, which I understand was a problem for previous pets.
