I don't have photos but I'm sure others will post them soon. We love the travel set and it is beautiful and just as pretty in person. My daughter liked that it says American Girl on the side of the suitcase. The metal closures on it are nice and sturdy. The quality of the entire suitcase is great. The fabric on the inside seems to be adhered to the suitcase well. It doesn't look like it will come apart. The set as a whole was adorable and cute and well made. The luggage tag however was not. I'm writing this as a warning to others. The tag is a very thin plastic and will break if you bend it too hard (or repeatedly) trying to pull it out of the hole to put the Eiffel tower tag on. This is the most flimsy AG plastic piece we have ever owned. They should have used a thicker plastic or cloth material like they did with purple traveling suitcase which is similar. I do not anticipate the tag to last the year before the plastic wears thin and breaks. It may even break before the month is out. I will most likely use a pretty thin ribbon to keep the Eiffel tower on when it does break because the Eiffel tower tag is so cute. I would buy this again because I like the suitcase. It is super adorable and will offer lots of play and I think will stand up to lots of play. The tag is my only complaint. I still give it an A because the main product itself and the other accessories (minus the tag) are very well constructed.

Grace's Travel Set Item# CGD20 Bon voyage, Grace! She’s off to Paris with this set, including: A red suitcase with a retractable handle, satin lining with interior pockets, and wheels that really roll A pretend heart-shaped luggage lock that can open and close A luggage tag in the shape of the Eiffel Tower Pretend passport and plane tickets A travel journal containing a few of Grace’s entries $44 First impression: this is a super cute set but a bit over priced. I love dolly luggage, so I was excited to be able to buy another piece. I bought the periwinkle travel set from several years ago. At $28 for that set, I feel like this set is over priced. The quality is comparable. The inside of Grace's luggage is nicer than the older travel set, but everything else is of comparable quality. On the other hand, the recent OG luggage set is priced around $24 (I paid less), and has tons more accessories. The OG suitcase itself is not as nice as Grace's but the tons of accessories make the set a much better value. Okay, on to the pics. In the box. It's a nice, sturdy AG box with a tab to hold it closed. I wish the baking set had been in this style of box. Packaged well to prevent damage. The rolling suitcase stands up well unassisted. It is made of a high quality, sturdy plastic with cute details on the outside. The blue ribbons and silver corners are also molded plastic. The handle pulls up easily and stays in place very well, as well as real rolling luggage. The handle itself is a sturdy plastic and held in place with metal screws, but the bars holding it into the suitcase are metal. No sliding back in when you don't want it to. It does return easily with a push. The movement is smooth and doesn't have to be forced. The clasps on the side are metal. They have a spring action to them and won't fall open, spilling contents. They are easy to open and close and stay in place very well. The paper/small accessories are packaged inside the suitcase. This prevented them from being bent. Everything is tucked neatly into a plastic bag. I think 2-3 outfits will fit inside the suitcase. It's not super roomy though. The small accessories aren't terrible but they aren't spectacular either. The little heart shaped lock is a cheap plastic. I think this will be easily broken. It is somewhat difficult to open the lock to slide the luggage tag on. I can see it coming apart easily. The Eiffel Tower shaped luggage tag is pleather. I think the quality of it is okay, considering. I don't think it will tear easily. It says "This Bag Belongs To Grace Thomas" on it. The travel journal is a standard AG notebook and is blank inside with lined paper. The paper has Parisian landmarks on the corners. The passport looks terribly fake and loses tons of points from me based on that. How difficult would it be to include a more realistic passport and have a passport holder that matched the luggage? All the pages in the passport say Paris on them, so you couldn't pretend to have the doll go somewhere else. The black sleeve with white hearts is a paper sleeve for the airline tickets. Pretty typical AG paper product. There are 2 tickets to Paris departing from Boston. The seat is the same on both. It would've been nice to have 2 different seats or one departing and one returning instead of 2 of the exact same ticket, but I suppose that's just me being picky. They are blank on the back. The stand and wheels are all plastic but sturdy. The wheels roll easily. They do not turn/spin. The size of the luggage compared to the doll is appropriate. Final thoughts: this is a sturdy set that will hold up to normal play, with the exception of the very cheap lock. I do not feel the set is worth $44 and would be better priced at $34. I also wish it included a few more accessories such as a travel bag with a toothbrush or a camera, etc. The set is very cute, and I do like having it in my collection.

Just picked up this set today, definitely worth its value. The suitcase alone is worth the money I think. Well, considering almost everything else is paper, I guess that makes sense.
Packaging. As mentioned earlier, all of the paper things are together in the suitcase when opening the package.
Paper things. The tickets are double packaged. They are identical seats, no name, but they go to Paris. It is funny that it is American [girl] Airlines. I have a little picture to show the size of everything comparatively. It is all paper/cardstock. I also included a picture of the diary - the first two pages are filled and then all the others are blank. The pages alternate designs between the two shown (Eiffel Tower and metro / heart and arch).
The latches really work. The suitcase handle latches both down and up.
I spent the next half hour trying to fit things in the suitcase. No, it is not tall enough to store the earring tree put together. No, it cannot fit a plastic hanger.
This is the size of the suitcase. It is exactly as wide as Saige's meet dress.
I did manage to fit these things in the suitcase: Saige's meet dress, gold boots, and the Western boots; Saige mini doll; earrings/doll sized AGP bag.
In the top part you can fit a brush, or shoes (these are the Easy Breezy shoes).
Saige is packed and ready to go to Florida!!

I purchased this set and am very pleased with all of it. It is one of the sturdier luggage sets AG has produced. Love all the little accessories that come with it - especially the little luggage tag, which is made of a faux leather just like a real luggage tag.

I really, really, realllllly wanted this travel set regardless of if I had Grace. It's so great! I love to travel and therefore my dolls love to travel.
I got this during the 20% off sale in St. Louis as soon as I heard it sold out online. The details are great and it is well worth what I paid for it. I enjoy that the silver parts are all metal. The little pieces are nice. It's stupid though that the plane tickets are the same exact seat. Really, AG? And the lock and tag are great, but where am I supposed to hang them? From the handle doesn't even look like the suitcase is remotely locked and when you put the handle down it lays funny.
