Adorable set, the shorts are nicely made, but the sweater snags to easily. There is already several snags on the sweater and we bought the set on the 1st. Very disappointed in the quality of the sweater.
This is a darling set and I'm glad I caved and bought it. The sweater is quite thin, mercerized cotton I think, but that gives it a lovely sheen and fluidity in such a small garment. This sweater is light enough that it might really be worn with shorts. It will require special care not to snag even though they have used the very thin Velcro. That said, It has lots of mix and match potential, as do the shorts. Hairbow is pink and red, which goes with the pink and red ballet slippers, both are well done and adorable. Altogether, I give this a high mark!
This is the first outfit I purchased for Grace and I am very happy with both the quality and the fit. Since my Grace is wearing it in the NE for Valentine's Day, I put on a pair of black tights to keep those legs warm, and happily her shorts easily fit over her tights. The pink and red shoes are generously sized and accommodate the tights as well. With the tights though I think it looks cutest with her meet boots (but those are a much tighter fit...) as I find the shoes too much of a contrast using black tights. I think the headband is a great addition, love the bow as the colors tie in with the shoes and fits Grace's head well, not being either too tight or too loose. Tres chic Grace!
The shorts are simply the best part of the set; so incredibly versatile.

I'm Erin. I'm a 20 year old Australian girl who has way too many dolls, loves Australian television and music, and is an early childhood educator! ----------------------------------------------------------- "I love history because it is a story, but the best thing about this story is that it is not finished. I wanted the outfit the instant I laid eyes on it. Tried to get it when AG had the $10 off $50 sale but the NYC was out of stock. So last week, I went to the store with a $10 off $100 code and bought this.
My sweater is immaculate. Hopefully, it does not snag easily. It does not appear to. I could not find a flaw in it and my #25, Cara looks terrific in it. She may claim it as she has a JG red Paris screen print tee that she is wearing with the shorts right now.
I was disappointed in the quality of the shorts, though they look great. Lots of loose threads. Not the usual AG quality, IMO.
Hate the shoes, but knew this up front. They look like Bitty shoes to me and I don't like that shade of pink with the shade of red in the outfit. So into the general shoe bin they go. My younger dolls will find use for them. I have Cara in Grace's Pink Opening Night dress sandals with the outfit, but black boots and tights can be added to the outfit for cooler weather. I think I have some black and white tennis shoes too. The bowed hairband is also pink and red, and will be used for some other outfit. A black, white, red, or silver hairband is a better match, IMO for this outfit.
I really like this outfit, so I hate detracting points due to the workmanship of the shorts and the pink shoes and headband. Would buy it despite the flaws and despite it high price tag, as most of Grace's outfits are pricey. Even at 10% off, it's a $30+ item. I give it a B in total grade, but it's a personal A+ in that I would have bought it even with the issues I've noted. It's a fresh, different look in the AG fare, I think.
I really like this outfit, and feel it is something I would wear myself.
I like how the velcro runs the full length of the back of the sweater - there are other outfits I own that are more difficult to get on the actual doll, but this is quite easy. The shorts are an interesting material with a bit of sparkle, and I think it adds a nice touch.
I personally like the headband and shoes, but again, I wear tons of ballet flats myself, so it goes along with the type of clothing I choose anyway. I don't leave the headband on my Grace doll for more than just trying on the outfit cause I don't want it to stay on too long and damage her wig in any way.
Overall, l I really enjoy the look and think it looks wonderful on Grace.
One of my favourite outfits that AG has made. I love the style as it's more mature than most other outfits. The black is appreciated.
I didn't like how the sweater had little threads all over it. I was worried that the headband would be too small, but it fits wonderfully and I'm really glad it didn't have one of those outrageously big tags on it!

I finally took Aviv/Grace out for a photo shoot in the City Outfit. I don't like how the faux collar is attached to the sweater; I would have preferred a dickie for more versatility. But, I like how it is possible to tuck the shirt collar inside the sweater for a cleaner look. Love the shorts with the metallic thread woven in for that extra zing. I don't care for the headband and shoes, too cutesy and matchy-matchy for my taste.
