I really like this outfit and skateboard. Is it worth $48? No. I think $38 would have been max. The shorts are made from the same slickery material I had on mine when I was her age. I don't recall having a rainbow on any of my clothing but it's ok. It's still cute. The socks? Same as mine. The sneakers? Same as mine. These are thin material just like the ones I had as a kid. Even the skateboard is like a replica. HOWEVER, this skateboard should have had a better way to balance the doll. It's too small. The strap on top is too slippery so it won't stay on Julie's feet and it's too bulky on the top to get Julie to stand without help. The skate board is cute and historically accurate but it can't compare to the MAG skateboard. At least the dolls can stand on the MAG one. Okay…rant over. I am not returning it. I love it and don't think it will go on sale but $48 is expensive for this, to me. I did my best to get an action shot of Julie out front today and the wind kept blowing her over so I had to start over in my back yard. Love these shorts! You won't catch me dead in these. The shoes are thin but same as the ones I had as a kid. However, they are too slickly and the strap on the skateboard will not stay on.

The shorts, shoes and socks are very 1970s. I grew up during that period so I do remember...lol. The shirt is so cute! Not only does it work for the1970s but also for the 1980s and even today! The skateboard is cute but I don't think my Julie will use hers as much as she uses her bike and roller skates. All in all an A.

Agreeing with the price. $38 should have been the price. I love this outfit anyway and I'm glad we got it. My daughter loves the skateboard! The shirt is my favorite part.
A due to price!

This set is adorable! I agree that I only would have purchased it on sale. The shoes are really cute. My only issue is that my socks don't quite match, which is weird. The coloring at the top is slightly off. You can see the one on the right is a little lighter in color. It's hard to balance on the skateboard, but for me that's not a major issue. I wish it had come with a couple of soft hair ties for the price.
I give it a B+ due to the sock issue, balancing problem, and the price. But I do love it!

I love this outfit too, but agree that the skateboard needs to be a little bigger so the doll will stay on it. Cute outfit anyway!

It works for my boy too. At the time I got this set, I didn't even have Julie.
