Sunshine Gardening Bench Set
Watch her love of gardening "bloom" with this sweet doll-sized gardening bench set! It includes:
A purple-and-white wooden bench
A watering can and spade that can hang on hooks on the bench
Clusters of pink flowers and orange flowers that fit easily into two clumps of pretend soil with cute little decorative worms—the soil fits into the two flowerpots
A pink birdhouse with an attached pretend bird that can be placed on the table or upper shelf of the bench
Two make-believe seed packs
Three printed paper butterflies with folding wings
A sheet of dome-shaped ladybug stickers that can be attached and repositioned on any of the bench accessories
A beehive in a case that dolls can really hold, with pretend bees and honey that can slide out of the case
The gardening bench has a nice compact footprint which makes this piece easy to set up almost anywhere and just as easy to store later.
The flowers are made of fabric and wire and are moderately fragile. One of the flower heads is threatening to fall off, which is a bit frustrating--but I think it would repair well with glue.
The soil features tiny worms! I love this bit of realism.
The watering can really works--but of course, our AG dolls and water do not mix!
This was puzzling--two hooks for tools but only one tool included. I found this to be an exasperating cost-cutting move.
The paper products are cute! I almost don't want to "spoil" the by playing with them.
This is a super cute piece that has lots of play potential. It is so bright and cheerful and so many of the pieces seem exactly right, like miniatures of the real thing. Overall grade: A-
