Rainy Day Coat

Polka dots brighten the rainiest days! Her doll can stay warm and dry in this bright-pink raincoat splashed with white polka dots. It features a high collar, long sleeves, and buttons on the front. It also has a bright-pink belt that loops around the waist.
Note: To complete the "Rainy Day Outfit" you can add the "Rainy Day Set" of umbrella and boots for $34.
This coat is pretty cute as a stand-alone trench coat. It has real working buttons & button holes. It has a real belt that is just tacked down in the back under the belt loop and fastens with a real slide buckle. There are no pockets; the flaps can be raised but there is no pocket underneath. It fits well, at least over a thin short-sleeved shirt.
Over a shirt and shorts (no, she's not naked underneath):
Over the same, but unbuttoned. The coat is double-breasted and looks very strange unbuttoned. I like it in this picture, though, in which I have folded back the "double" part to leave just a row of buttons on each side.

Overall grade... A?
Real functioning buttons & belt details, with no velcro.
The pattern is attractive and the solid pink accents look great against the dotted fabric. It is, of course, very pink.
Good fit.
