The set comes with a ponytail loop, a bun helper, 6 small bobby pins and some clear elastic bands. I bought this on a whim while I was in the store and if lived closer, I would have returned it.
Ponytail loop: It turned a ponytail but I wasn't overly impressed. I thought the loop part would be semi-flexible, like the one I had for my own hair years ago but this one is stiff and angry plastic and requires some effort to pull it through the hair. Plus the loop is so small I found it difficult to get the hair into it although child sized fingers might have better luck. I find it just as easy to do it the old fashioned way and wiggle my fingers through the hair, grab the pony tail and pull it through. The hole I make with my fingers isn't any bigger than what this thing makes! If I still had my human sized one I probably wouldn't have given this set a second look.
Bun helper: This worked well (once I trimmed off the humongous tag!) and was easy to use. It would be better if it was hair colored and not hot pink. I understand pink being more appealing than beige or brown but it's hard to adjust the hair to cover it without the pink showing through. I also fear the wire on the inside will eventually turn into a mangled mess and shorten its life expectancy.
Bobby pins: Nice size and cute colors.
Elastic bands: They get bonus points for being clear.
The set is $20 and WAY overpriced for what you get. $10 would be fair and I think it will eventually end up in the outlet store for closer to $5.
Due to the price, I'm giving this set D-. If it were $10, I would give it B.
