Released in 2015, retired in 2020.
When it’s time for bed in Philadelphia, Addy wears this nightgown, which Momma made with love in every pretty detail. Addy adores the powder-blue lace trim, the fancy embroidery, and the sweet blue ribbon accent. It comes with matching hairbows and knit slippers with scalloped edges.
$24
I loved this from the first sneak peak. I had a $10 of $50 coupon, and nightwear rarely goes on sale, so I decided to go ahead and get it. I think this is one of the better deals on nightwear since it also includes bows.
The nightgown is made of mid-weight cotton, not too thin but light enough to make this a summer nighty. It doesn't seem see through, but I haven't had it in bright light. The embroidery is very sweet, little blue flowers with green vines and leaves. It is not lined as I would have hoped--you can see the back of the embroidery, it is neat with no unnecessary strings or knots. The trim is a triangular lace in pale blue and a matching satin bow. The lace is soft without being so delicate that you worry about messing it up, perfect for items that get a lot of use. Some growth tucks would be nice, but not having them doesn't detract from the overall feel of the set. A
The slippers are just like Cécile's but blue. They match the trim of the nightgown nicely. A After trying on Addy, they fit very snuggly on my PM Addy, but they will go on (unlike some other Mattel shoes). Still an A, but something to keep in mind if you have an earlier doll.
The bows are very cute. They are made of picot ribbon permanently tied on combs. I want to check them out with other outfits, they are a little fancy for sleeping. A-
This set gets a solid A from me
