Music & Movies Entertainment Set (2015-2020)

This set was released on 8/27/15. My dad was near DC for work, so he popped in and picked one up for me. There were none left on the floor so he had to ask an employee to get one from the back.

-A TV console with cabinet doors and storage shelves
-A pretend LED-lit TV that sits on top of the console, with three transparent TV screens that slide inside for the dolls to view
-A make-believe DVD player with two DVDs that can be inserted and ejected
-A TV remote that fits in the doll’s hand
-A pretend microphone that dolls can hold for karaoke
-Two cardstock bins with different patterns to customize the décor—a total of 16 possible pattern combinations
-Doll-sized 3D glasses
-Designer door inserts—floral pattern on one side, and mirrored with artwork on the other

Requires 3 AAA and 1.5V alkaline batteries, not included.
Assembly Instructions:

TV Console: Love, love, love the design! Not very heavy, easy to move around. Love the storage space. Very neutral and could be used for a lot of different things! It is mostly plastic, which I wasn't totally thrilled with. Also, the DVD cases are too tall to stand up on the shelves which bugs me a little bit. A-
TV & Screens: OMG the TV lights up when you push the power button!!! SO cute! The TV itself is a good size. The batteries were easy to put in (it takes 3 AAA & a Phillips screwdriver as noted on the site). It comes with three screens - Grace and Bonbon, AG Karaoke, and AG Netflix. All are super cute and look great when the tv is turned on! My personal favorite is AG Netflix because it makes me chuckle. (rofl) There's even a place to store the screens that aren't in use on the back of the TV!! (Which I actually overlooked the first time I played with this set!) Of course, I would've loved more screens, especially from other AG movies. Even still, I would definitely give it an A+.
The power light comes on when the TV is on!
DVD Player & DVDs: I had another OMG moment when I opened the DVD player - you can push a little button and eject the DVD!! Love it! It's a good size and it fits perfectly on the shelf in the TV console. The DVDs are also adorable and I LOVE that the tiny discs are separate! It comes with two discs - Karaoke & Grace's movie. Each disc also comes with a case that opens and can store the disc! You can actually take the DVD out of the case and put it in the DVD player! Great attention to detail that I feel has really been lacking recently! A+
Remote: Adorable! Non-functional of course, but I'm so glad that they included it! It's also a good scale and very realistic, but I had a hard time getting it to stay in a doll's hand by itself in any sort of natural position. A-
Microphone: I don't really plan on using the karaoke screen that much, so I'm not sure that I'll use this a whole lot, but it is very cute. It's a good size as well and a doll can easily hold it. A
Storage Bins: Super cute and I love that you can customize the look you want! They are cardboard, not plastic, but they are very heavy cardboard and look like they will hold up well. A
3D Glasses: Very cute! I have the OG 3D glasses, but these are a much better size and, IMO, much cuter! They are like movie 3D glasses in that they do not have the red and blue lenses. They are a dark grey, which I prefer. The frames are a heavy cardboard. A very cute addition to this set! I'm not sure how much I will use them but I love that they were included! A
Designer Door Inserts: Another great way to customize the look of this set! Very cute! They are a heavy cardboard. A

I am in LOVE with this set! It was the only thing I was truly excited about in this release and it did not disappoint! I am 21 years old and I seriously played with this set for about 45 minutes. I love that it comes with so many little accessories, which I feel is exactly what a lot of recent sets have been missing. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the price and I am very happy with my purchase! I did opt not to get the couch that was introduced with it as I already have the Fun & Games Table and the Cozy Lounge Chair and chose to use those instead.
I was also very excited to see that the gift card holder PS2 from Gamestop fits perfectly in the cabinet! (The PS3 and xbox do not).
