This item was introduced in 2015 and retired in 2022.Crinolines were commonly worn to add fullness to skirts in the 1950s. This pink crinoline features ribbon edging for a pretty touch—and Maryellen can wear it to add extra poof to any skirt or dress!
I got this for my Ellie since I'm not sewing tulle. Very historically accurate. It seems like thick, Slightly scratchy tulle. It gives great body to skirts without them bursting with floof. I've tried it under her school, birthday and meet dress they all look much better with the crinoline under them. It doesn't peak out the bottom at all and seems the perfect length her for clothes. for 16$ I wish it would've been a full underwear set, And I wish it had a real waist band instead of just elastic sewn on. It's nothing spectacular but it does the job well. I give it a solid A

I think this does the job really well for $16. It’s basically a circle skirt design with three tiers of tulle. The seams aren’t finished (except for the elastic at the top and the pink ribbon at the bottom) and it’s not fancy, but it’s very easy to put on and take off and the tulle is more than ample to make any dress poof out appropriately. The design: The edges are unfinished: Here’s a comparison to one of the mid 1800s crinolines (first marketed for Cécile and Marie-Grace, then later marketed for Addy). You can see how ME’s is shorter and gets full more quickly. One more look at all that tulle. Overall, I give this piece an A and highly recommend it for ME’s wardrobe, even at full price.

Maryellen's crinoline is so cute and flouncy. I love the pink on this piece. My mom even commented it looks like one she had in high school in the 1950's.
