So my drum set arrived yesterday and I have to admit I am quite pleased. The most disappointing aspect is the stool. It is a hard plastic, I was hoping for some kind of fabric. It isn't a shiny plastic however, so from a small distance it looks like fabric. In addition, because the base is entirely plastic it lacks weight. The large base drum is quite nice. Yes the "metal" details are plastic, but they look quite real and the drum has weight. My daughters and I really enjoy the foot pedal, it actually works. (Sorry for the sad drum terminology, I don't play drums) The second drum is also nicely done, but it doesn't sound as nice as the bass drum or the cymbal. The cymbal is fantastic. Unlike earlier instruments the stand is plastic,😕 but it has a nice weight to it. The cymbal is metal! Give a cheer! It sounds great when you play it with the drumsticks. The drumsticks are plastic and have a clear strap attached so they can be held by any doll, not just Logan. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by this set. My daughters are excited for the dolls to have a drum set, and have fun "playing" them. It will look fantastic in a display and I can't wait for Logan to arrive and play them.

We have Logan's drum set and I'm glad to have another instrument to add to our musically inclined dolls' orchestra. I noticed there isn't a picture yet so I've added one that I have: I appreciate that the pieces can actually be played and that the cymbals are metal. The drawbacks that I find are the little bass drum foot pedal is plastic and it's hard to keep Logan sitting on the little stool!
