Felicity emerged from the archives under the BeForever branding in February 2017 and was sold with the blue and yellow brocade gown until she retired again in December 2019.
I bought Felicity nude from a board member... mostly because I wanted those new green eyes
I don't have any older Felicitys so I can't speak to the differences, but this BF gal is quite lovely despite the now well-known quality issues.
- Her decal eyes are a very nice shade of emerald green, although there seems to be a thicker-than-normal black ring around the outside. To be fair, Caroline has that dark ring too, but Felicity's just seems more visible for some reason.
- Felicity's hair is auburn. I rather like the color. I didn't take down her hair, but it appears to be of average thickness. The pincurls, three on each side, are not even on this particular doll; one side is higher than the other. They're very dainty, but again I don't know how that compares to earlier Felicitys.
- Sadly, this doll has the newer fabric and a ziptie. The fabric feels a little more rough and synthetic in a way, and the darts on her butt are definitely more pointy. I'm not sure how it'll hold up to play.
Here are some pictures of her in Caroline's meet dress, and a couple of comparisons with Maryellen who is my only other red-haired doll.
Felicity's lip color seems darker than Ellie's, but not to the point of bothering me. For reference, Ellie is a September 2016 doll with neckstrings.
Hair, with Ellie (Felicity is further away from the camera; she's not actually tiny, haha).
Eye comparison with Ellie, with flash.
Her eyes, with flash.
