This is a nice addition to the Grand Hotel, which I don't own yet. The base is sturdy wood and is a nice size, it can fit Grace's suitcase and a shopping bag. The wheels are plastic, but they are a thick plastic and should hold up well to play. They do turn and swivel, which makes the cart easy to maneuver and quite realistic. The frame is plastic. Oh, how I wish it were a brass-like metal similar to Sam's old bed. It is not bad however, the plastic is thick and will hold up to play. I like that the hanging bar rotates and the elaborate top piece.
The accessories it comes with are a mixed bag. The mini-Coconut is adorable, and will fit on the cart with other accessories. I love his bellhop outfit. He is the same quality as Coconut, just half the size. The garment bag is not bad. The material feels a touch thin, but the design on the fabric is colourful and fun, and it matches the fabrics of the other Grand Hotel sets. The hanger is not great. It is made of a very thin pink plastic. I understand that they want to save money, so I understand the new thinner hangers that come with the mix and match outfits, but in a set that costs this much, it should include a better hanger. The shopping bag is similar to the little bags the earrings come in when your doll has her ears pierced, but the handles are a very thin string. 🙁 Thank goodness I have saved all my little AG bags.
Overall the piece looks nice, it is a good size and is fairly sturdy. I love mini-coconut and my girls keep stealing it from me!
