Seashore Stripe Skirt (2018-2019)

This skirt is part of this year's mix & match collection. My husband bought it for me as a surprise and I love it!
The skirt is made of t-shirt material, which makes it extremely soft with a beautiful drape. The stripes are printed onto the fabric on a diagonal. The waistband is elastic. The skirt is constructed of two pieces of material overlapped on the sides where the pleats are (sort of like an apron in reverse, if that makes sense). This gives the skirt a breezy, flow-y line.
My only complaint is that the elastic waistband is tight and therefore difficult to pull up even on a newer doll. It goes on, just takes patience. Otherwise, I love this piece.
Here it is on my CYO doll, Julia Marie, paired with another of the mix & match separates. The skirt has a bohemian flair which is perfect for Julia:
