I bought this completely on impulse at AG Store Seattle just because it was so cute in the display case. And I'm so glad I did! This is an adorable set, and every doll family needs a cooler for their doll picnics, right? :)
The set includes: 1 cooler, 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches, 1 container of raspberries, and 2 clumps of ice.
All the pieces are plastic, but all are heavy, detailed, and very nicely made. The cooler in particular is precious. I love the teal handle with its little grips and the sturdy, slightly grainy material the cooler it is made out of. The hinges feel quite strong. The drinks can rest in the two cup holders on top of the cooler when it's closed, and there's an indentation for a snack there as well. The sunshine decoration on the front of the cooler is cute as well. Everything but the drinks fits right inside when the cooler is closed.
The food looks delicious--especially those paper wrapped sandwiches! Apparently they come from an AG deli because the paper is sprinkled with tiny printed subway sandwiches and the AG. The plastic container of raspberries really opens! and the berries can pop in and out. Raspberries are one of my favorite treats, so I ask you. I've decided the drinks are orange juliuses, or maybe mango smoothies. Yum!
All told, I think this cooler is even nicer than the earlier Pleasant Company version (which I also have). The PC one is cute but is made of glossy plastic with no handle, whereas this one has a handle and is made from a much nicer material. The food is pretty much equally cute in both sets.
Anyway, pictures!
