Dolls will be ready for weekend jaunts in the city in this smart and stylish set. Includes:
A knit capelet in a coral houndstooth pattern A cute tweed skirt with an asymmetrical ruffle Shiny flat shoes with fabric bows on the heels A tee with a fun city sceneI liked this outfit from the time it was introduced. I love the blend of warm colors, the style, the capelet, the material used for the skirt, everything. It looks great on every doll I've tried it on. The capelet: A slightly cheap feeling knit in a very pretty pattern (I love the word houndstooth!). It fits snugly and well and I love that the button really buttons. Grade: B The skirt: I love the heavy material--it is a tweed shot with gold. And I like asymmetry in fashion. However, I do wish it buttoned or even velcroed in the back, though. As it is, the elastic is very tight and it takes patience to get it on. Also, the skirt bunches--is this really a thing? Pleats would have been better. Grade: B The shoes: Okay, yes, it's yet another pair of ballet flats. But they're gold! And they have tiny bows on the heels! Love. Grade: A+ The tee: A very pretty color and a cute decal, but a slightly thin material. I like the 3/4 length sleeves; I'm always pushing my own sleeves up so I can imagine my dolls appreciate the shorter length as well. Grade: B Overall grade: B+ Here it is modeled by my lovely Helen:

I don't buy many TM outfits, but I had to have this one because I went to Amsterdam in 2017, and the graphic on the shirt looks like Amsterdam. Untitled by marjorieeeee, on Flickr The skirt is really tiny. I had to stretch it all the way to get it on Isabelle, so I don't even want to try to get it onto older dolls. In reality, it's small enough for a Wellie Wisher! Untitled by marjorieeeee, on Flickr
