This item was released at Courtney's debut in September 2020 and retired in 2021. It was $18.
This garment-washed denim jacket with silver buttons is oversized so Courtney can layer it over her outfits. She can wear the sleeves rolled up or leave them down.
I like this jacket, but the buttons seem to be tacked on. They are usable, but I feel like they'll get loose and or fall off easily. The button holes also have threads across them. Otherwise, it's well made and cute. I am returning it because it won't fit in my 80s character's collection. I'd give it a B overall.

From the AG website: This garment-washed denim jacket with silver buttons is oversized so Courtney can layer it over her outfits. She can wear the sleeves rolled up or leave them down.
SKU#: GRN57Courtney's denom jacket was a must have for me since it's such a classic 80's piece. The jacket is well made and I really love all of the detail in the stitching. The buttons and buttonholes do function to close up the jacket though I imagine I'll probably use it mostly open. the buttons on the chest pockets are non functional but do have a real flap on top so they appear real. the side pockets are non functional as well but have nice details and again appear real.

I agree with the previous reviews, this jacket feels well made and has lots of nice details. The buttons are plastic, and although they seem securely sewed on, they do feel wobbly and that made it difficult to button the jacket closed. Here's how it looks buttoned up:
I think it looks better worn open, so the difficulty with buttoning and unbuttoning doesn't bother me too much.
Here's a couple close-ups of the buttons:
Overall I give it an A, it's one of my favorites of Courtney's pieces.

This jacket in tempting because it's such an iconic 80s piece of clothing. If it were in dark wash as my friends and I wore I would have bought. I plan to make my own instead.
