Boots: A+
These are so cute! I always love a winter fashion boot and these are no exception! They’re a standard pair of almost-knee-high boots, but they’re covered with sparkles and feature bows on the side. Even better the glitter doesn’t shed! They’re undeniably loud, but lots of fun…and they pair with any of AG’s sparkly winter offerings (and, of course, the Winter 2020 Mix and Match set). They open in the back with Velcro to make putting them on easier. Nia is a PC girl with chubbier limbs than the current dolls, but they fit her just fine and look adorable!
I do enjoy AG designing the box to look like a shoebox.
Good Value?
Every piece that I bought from this Mix and Match collection surprised me a bit on price, and these boots follow that trend. They cost $16 directly from AG and maybe it’s just because I’ve never purchased doll shoes without an outfit before, but that seems kind of high to me. The quality of them is good and I have no complaints, I was just not expecting them to cost quite so much!
Overall: A+
I bought these to complete Nia’s holiday look. They match the 2020 Winter Mix and Match items perfectly and I could easily see them having appeal beyond this set. They’re cute boots and I’m very happy to have them.
