Joss loves to support her team at practice and competitions by wearing this jacket that zips in the front and has her team’s logo on the back.
SKU#: GLR53 $15
Joss’s Cheer Team Jacket was released in early 2020 and is considered an AG Rewards Exclusive. It’s available both online and in stores to AG Rewards members.
Here’s Joss in her jacket:
It’s primarily a white jacket with turquoise cuffs and trim. It zips up the front and has a Shine Athletics insignia on the left chest, written in pink with pink, turquoise, and orange designs around it.
The back of the jacket has a larger Shine Athletics logo with swirling (shooting?) turquoise stars around it.
This is my least favorite purchase from Joss’s collection, and even though it’s only $15, I don’t think it’s worth that. Firstly, the material is not a nice quality. It feels like it will snag easily, and you can see how wrinkled and rumpled it looks after being stored neatly folded up. More importantly, though, I think the fit is horrible. One of the cuffs is so small that it takes an unreasonable amount of effort to get it over Joss’s hand. (That’s only one cuff; the other is fine.) Also, the fit of the shoulders is off, so they stand up oddly like there’s room for pads underneath rather than laying nicely across the shoulders. I tried to make it look as presentable as possible in the photos, but you can still kind of see what I mean if you look at the shoulders in these photos:
It’s possible that I just ended up with a defective jacket, and I keep meaning to take it back to the store for an exchange. If I do end up doing that and find that a different jacket doesn’t have these issues, I’ll be sure to update the review. In the meantime, I’ll give this a D.
