This bright orange nylon bag was part of the in-store promotional giveaway when Joss had her debut as 2020’s Girl of the Year. This is a similar doll-size bag to what’s often given away at sporting events and school tours, with corded straps so it can be worn as a backpack and a corded drawstring closure. The cords are aqua colored, and Joss’s cheer organization (Shine Athletics), her Girl of the Year 2020 designation, and American Girl stand out in white decal letters against the bright orange background. A tag is sewn on the inside.
It’s pretty roomy and can hold several items. Since Joss already has the fancy Nfinity backpack for cheer, I imagine this bag as being more suited for trips to the beach, where she’d appreciate being able to easily shake off the sand. It seems like a decent quality that would hold up to play just fine.
Along with the drawstring bag, stores had a surfboard craft with decorative stickers, which I don’t have any longer. Overall a nice thematic giveaway.
