This set was an in-store giveaway at Courtney Moore's launch in September 2020. It includes a scrunchie, sticker, and two crafts, which feature different styles of child and doll glasses. They came all bundled together with a rubber band, and all but the sticker were in their own separate cellophane wrappings.
The scrunchie is primarily black, and has a design of neon-outlined triangles on it. This design is also on Courtney's Belt Bag, although in my opinion the triangle outlines aren't quite as bright and sharp on the scrunchie. The scrunchie is packaged on a card that has a drawing of Courtney, and the scrunchie is wrapped around it so that it looks like her skirt. On the drawing underneath, Courtney is wearing her splatter print dress, pink cropped jacket, purple lace leggings, and the turquoise socks and magenta shoes from her flats and socks set. I think this is a clever way to package the scrunchie and I like the way it highlights some of the other pieces of her collection. Scrunchies don't seem especially popular among the kids I'm around, but I think this is a good tie-in to Courtney and her collection, and it probably also hits the nostalgia factor for some of her buyers.
The next piece in the bundle is a little Care Bears sticker. It's a purple bear (Share Bear?) that's also wearing a scrunchie and who's holding a trio of balloons - a regular red balloon, a yellow star balloon, and an orange heart one. Alongside the bear, there's also a smiling little star who's holding its own pink heart balloon. Very cute.
Then there are two other packages, each of which has a craft - a set of stickers, a doll-size pair of glasses, and a matching child-size pair of glasses. The glasses are made of shiny thick paper and can be decorated with the stickers. None of the glasses have lenses. One set of glasses looks like rainbow-colored shutter shades, and the other set is kind of a funky pink and yellow triangle design. I think this is a fun craft and on-trend especially for Courtney's time, but also fun for kids now. Even though they're just thick paper, they seem fairly substantial and I think they'd last awhile if played with carefully. The stickers are the same in both packages, so I’m only showing one set in these pics.
I don't have Courtney, so here's a picture of Joss wearing the doll-size shutter shades.
From what I've read elsewhere, I think at least some of the stores may have also included a Girls Who Code booklet as part of the giveaway, but I didn't get one of those. As is, though, I think it's a nice set for a promotional giveaway, although personally I'm always in favor of more stuff (i.e., special outfits or accessories) for the dolls.
