I love the top. Its a nice darker shade of pink with a star sewn to the side, on top of the star (which is a plaid fabric) is another star made of the original pink in the dress. The partial shirt under the tunic is gray and is a simple cotton. On the sleeve it has a strip that says American girl (its sewn on. The hood does not have velcro up it. The velcro is on the back of the shirt and leaves about an inch and a half without it.
The leggings are stretchy and are made of the same fabric the pink coconut shirt is made from. They go a little past her knees and are cute.
I love love love the pink ballet flats. They have a little elastic band that goes over the middle of her foot.
Her headband is plaid and matches the inside of the star (on the tunic). On the bottom of the headband is a round white elastic bringing both sides together.
The doll's underwear are light pink.

This outfit is a good Meet outfit. The outfit looks a lot like an outfit you would see little girls wearing today. Grey leggings with a longer shirt, matching headband, and slip on shoes with no socks. The leggings are grey and hit just below the knee. The shirt has the appearance of a layered hoodie, with the grey undershirt and long sleeves actually sewn onto the dark pink overshirt. The headband is plaid and matches the star on the shirt. The shoes are pink slip ons that match the shirt as well. This outfit does come with a pair of coral color undies. Overall I would give this outfit an A-. The only downside to it is the shoes are really hard to get on- the material they are made from is weak and so it takes several tries to get them on over the heel. I don't know if putting socks on would make it better or worse. Here is a picture:

I would pretty much give this outfit a D. If that. For the life of me, I cannot get the hoodie onto a doll. Not a Mattel doll, not a PM doll. And without the hoodie dress, the outfit isn't worth anything.
The only pluses are the underwear, which are a cute color, and the headband, which looks good by itself. But that's not much of a reason to buy the outfit for the $26 it costs without a JLY doll.

I think that what makes a good Meet Outfit for a JLY is versatility. For those who are just starting out, it's the first outfit they get. Many of the other JLY meet outfits had pieces that could be added to other outfits. If they had just made the hoodie and long-sleeve tshirt into a hoodie and an actual LS tshirt instead of fake layering, it would really increase the versatility.
While it's very "now," and the shoes and leggings can be used with other outfits, the star hoodie thing has little mix and match potential, IMO. It's too short to be worn over tights, and too tight to be worn over jeans without looking too bulky. The shoes, at least, are cute. I think the leggings would also be cute with higher boots for a winter look. I agree with Leila; I don't think it'd really be worth 26$ on its own.

I bought the outfit for Mia but the tunic is hard to get on... On the other hand it is adorably cute, so yeah... I give it a B.

I got this with Violet(#30). And love it! I've put it on my Samantha and Kit they are a little more plump but it fit them fine. The dress is put together odd the Velcro does not go all the way down and the hod is one piece So a little hard to get on. I wish it was longer so it could be worn with out pants .love the head band for some reason.Leggings go with a lot.I have no trouble getting the shoes on and I love them.I'll give this outfit a A- if the dress was a little longer and was easier to get on I woluld give a A+.

It's cute, but I had the hardest time getting the top off my #21. I ended up having to tug and messing up her curls. And it looks bizarre when it's off the doll and the velcro is undone--there's just this random hole and then the hood. Why bother making it velcro at all? The hoodie look is very popular and everything, but I wish they'd done like ada said and made it a shirt and a hoodie over top. Love the shoes and the underwear, though.

I think the Star Hoodie is cute and the little plaid star, But It is so hard to put on a doll. The leggings, underwear, head band, and shoes are cute though. You have to force you're doll in the dress. Unfortunately I'm giving this outfit a C-.

I really loved this outfit. I did not find it too hard to put on my dolls. Even our older doll Molly. But it does muss their hair a little. The colors look very nice on many dolls and the leggings can be used to mix and match. I have included photos of it on several of our dolls.
On transitional Molly (she is a chubby girl and this outfit was a tiny bit tight but still cute and really brings out her eyes)

I like the look of this outfit (well, I'd like it better if it weren't so darn pink), but I agree-- the hoodie-top part is VERY hard to put on. Ugh! I love the leggings, though-- they're nice and versatile, and the shoes are actually very easy for me to put on. Maybe mine are looser than some others? I think the headband is pretty cute, too. The underwear annoys me because it's so low-cut. I don't know if others feel this way, but I always liked to tuck the neck strings into the underwear so they don't get all over the place, which was REALLY easy with my PM dolls with tall underwear and long strings... but now that they come with super low-cut underwear and short strings, I can't do anything with them.

I think this is a nice looking outfit. This is something my 7 year old daughter would have picked to wear. The problem is putting this on the doll or taking it out. It is so hard. I got fed up with it one day and cut off the hood. Yep, I cut it off. I really want my kids to be able to dress the dolls themselves and cutting off the hood did it. I give a C to this outfit just because of being so impractical for kids.

This outfit is ok. I got it with my #14 today. I like the shoes, pants, and headband. I think that the only way the pants are versatile is if a girl got her doll at AGP and got an exlcusive shirt to go with, the doll could wear it with the legging-pants and the flats. I did that with my purple B&B shirt. The dress is hard to get on and off and my doll was probably crying as I tried to pull it off her head. I might use it again, but not often. I'm not sure how versatile it is, maybe over some jeans and with the pink flats it would be cute? I don't know.
Overall; C+

I love this outfit. While it is difficult to get on and off, it looks nice and every doll I have tried it on (Sam, Kirsten, Mia & #25). It even fits Kirsten nicely, who is WB and chubby. My girls normally wear the outfit together (as sold), as I am not sure what it would mix and match with nicely. However, the shoes are very simple and wearable so they get a lot of use. I really like how they look with jeans. I prefer take the headband and put it around the doll's torso where the empire waist seam is (similar to what AG did for Gwen's headband) rather than use it for a headband. I think it adds a bit more finished look. Overall I would give the outfit a B for the sole problem of dressing the doll.

My Hilary (#32) and Natalie (#39) both came with this outfit. It's cute, and something my niece (12) might wear. I agree with others that the hoodie is difficult to get on and off, but I like the leggings and shoes as mix-and-match pieces for a variety of outfits.

So here's the Meet Outfit from 2008, the Star Hoodie. It has shoes, undies, leggings, the titular hoodie, and a hair band. (NOTE: the first two pictures were taken later, so the color's aren't the most accurate. Sorry about that.) A quick close-up at the nice star. It has the same plaid as the headband. Pink undies! They're okay. Grey leggings! They're okay as well. Very easy to put on. And now onto the shoes... I find them easy to put on (these ones have slight scratches due to the previous owner). And the infamous hood has a hole in the back, as demonstrated here. Probably to make things easier when putting it on. Just put it over the doll's head instead of the bottom up. The arms are a bit tricky, but I didn't find it too hard (once you try to put pants on Bratz, nothing is too hard). It's a very cute outfit. I wouldn't mind wearing something like this. The headband adds to the cuteness in my opinion. This is the little AG tag on the left sleeve. There's a space in between the hoodie and the shirt up to where my finger is pointing out from, around the sleeves and sides. This is a nice touch that doesn't get in the way of dressing up a doll. Now my doll is awesome enough to actually be able to wear her hoodie. Helps that she has a medium/thin wig. I'm pretty sure a doll with curly hair like #46 would never be able to wear the hoodie and look good. From the back. And since the hole's still there, I can still give her a little pony-tail Overall, I like this outfit. It's easy to put on (for me at least) and it's cute.

Cutest Meet Outfit!!! This outfit is by far the best meet outfit that we have. It goes on the dolls easily and it fits everyone. My Daughter is able to mix and match the various pieces with other outfits. It seems to be well made and the material is very soft. Definitely an A+++

It is a favorite outfit for my niece who does not seem to have trouble putting it on and off.

My #26 came in this meet outfit.
This outfit is very cute and trendy. I like the look of it, but the hood is a PITA. I can get it if I fiddle with it for a while, but I don't want to have to put in a bunch of work to dress my dolls, KWIM? The leggings and shoes are cute and I've gotten a lot of use out them. The shoes and leggings have more mix and match potential than anything in the outfit. The headband is cute, but it only really works with other pink outfits or this. The pink underwear is nice... I actually like them being lower cut so they don't show if I dress Ashley in low rise pants.

I got this outfit in a trade after wanting it for so long but couldn't get a doll during that time period. I just have the hoodie and leggings.
Hoodie dress: I didn't have a problem putting it on Sadie because her hair is shorter and only her bangs got a little messed up - still not a problem. The dress part fits her pm body perfectly. I don't think it looks that great on her than it would Leah because of the shade of pink it is - great for summers (like Leah), but not as much for winters (like Sadie).
Leggings: The leggings work best for mattel than premattel, but it slid and fit Sadie perfectly.
Over all: The hoodie dress and the leggings are really cute and can go with other stuff. I give it a A+

This is one of the cutest JLY meets AG has ever made, IMO, though they could of done better. I got this outfit twice, once with my #41, Sophia, and again with #13, Amber. The "hoodie" is well made, from a think material. It is hard to get on and off most dolls, though, like others have said. The plaid star makes are nice touch. It can be easily mixed and matched, along with all of the other pieces in this meet outfit. The leggings are nice. As I said, they can be easily mixed and matched to different outfits, and still look great. The shoes are my favorite part. They can be mixed and matched soon easily, and looks very nice with Chrissa's meet. They are well made, and fit perfectly to the doll's feet. The headband is cute, but nothing special. I give this an A-.
